This year the Learning Garden will be planted by dahlia size from AA through MS. In the coming weeks this site will feature the plants that will be grown in each category.
AA – Giants over 10in in diameter
A – Large, from 8in to 10in
B – Medium, from 6in to 8in
BB – Small, from 4in to 6in
M – Miniature up to 4in
BA – Ball, over 3.5in
MB – Miniature Ball from 2in to 3.5in
P – Pompom up to 2in
MS – Mignon Single up to 2in
One of the many great things about our society is the opportunity to learn pretty much whatever you care to about dahlias; from how they are grown to how to show them and judge them! Many thanks to Connie Young-Davis for hosting this event and providing a delicious dinner afterwards!!!

The 70th Annual Dahlia Show (2016) will be held Saturday September 10 and Sunday September 11 at the Prospect Lake Community Hall, 5358 Sparton Road. The doors will be open to the public Saturday 1pm to 5pm, and Sunday 11am to 3pm. Admission is free.
